WHAT YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO DO
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
DAY ONE | THE STUDIO | SATURDAY, MARCH 23RD
Join Friedman and spend the day in The Studio in an intensive indoor hands on portrait lighting workshop. Friedman will start with creative lighting with a single flash on camera and progress to the use of multiple camera flash speedlights and demonstrate the effects of different light modifiers in the studio.
Attendees will learn how to pose models, where to set lights, and how to use reflectors, soft boxes, grids, color gels and light meters. Friedman will also bring some of his lighting equipment for everyone to use. You will come away from this workshop with greater knowledge of creative portraits and how to control the light while working with a live model.
For a good time, bring your camera and flash. If you don’t have a flash, Rick will have extra lighting gear for you to use.
The Studio owner, Terry Townsend, is known in South Florida as a go-to photographer with over 40 years in the photography industry as a corporate photographer for FPL, Burger King, Ryder, Citibank, Hard Rock, Subway, TD Bank and many more.
